Project: Bicycle Component
A functional component for a high-performance bicycle, machined in-house from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in black anodizing. It’s a repeat-order part — we run batches of several dozen on reorder — taken through every stage below in our own facility, from raw stock to finished part.
4-Axis Milling
The part is re-fixtured and machined on additional sides, keeping features aligned across setups.
3-Axis Milling
First operations — the main faces and features are milled from solid stock.
Raw Material
7075-T6 aluminum stock, cut to size and ready for machining.
Finished Part
Black anodized for corrosion resistance and a durable surface — the completed, ready-to-ship component.
Deburring
Edges are smoothed and cleaned by vibratory finishing for a consistent, burr-free result.
